Performance Coaching

Similar to executive coaching, this program is appropriate for all levels in the organization with a focus on improving workplace performance and goal achievement. Emphasis is placed on fine-tuning skills such as oral and written communication, time management, organization, and conflict management, as well as making steady progress through an individual development plan.

 The Performance Coaching experience is designed to focus on the following actions:

1. Assessing the skill area(s) or performance issue(s) to be addressed;
2. Designing an Individual Development Plan;
3. Taking action to accomplish items/goals in the plan;
4. Evaluating progress and results;
5. Charting a course for further development.

By following these steps, the participant and coach are able to engage in open dialogue, focusing on the “coachee’s” areas for improvement and, in turn, achieving his or her desired results. At the conclusion of Step 5, the decision is made to end the coaching relationship or continue with additional sessions to focus on improving another skill or area of performance.

Coaching sessions are typically held over the phone, however in-person sessions are also an option. It is common for the coach and participant to spend the first session getting to know each other better to begin establishing rapport, a critical success factor for the coaching relationship. The participant will be asked to complete an Intake Form prior to the first call, which provides the coach with preliminary information regarding what the coachee hopes to gain from the experience, as well as insights into his or her characteristics and interests.

Sessions are up to one hour in duration and are priced per month. Please see our Coaching Pricing page for additional details regarding fees.

At times during the coaching experience, the coach may ask the participant to complete a formal assessment or two as a way of gauging work and communication style and/or skill level in a particular area. Depending on the assessment used, an additional one-time fee may be incurred.
