Whether updating a current performance management system or creating a new one, mapping out competencies and standards of performance for employees is a crucial step in the process. In meeting your needs, the following process is used to ensure competencies and performance standards produce the results you’re after and integrate fully with your performance management system and learning program:
First, interviews with key stakeholders in the process will take place to make sure critical insights and information is captured and to assess the needs for the project.
Next, we’ll review your current performance management system, processes, competencies (if applicable), job descriptions, and any other documents pertinent to the project.
A project plan and timeline is created and sent to the client for approval.
Competencies and performance standards are developed and submitted for review as needed and integrated into the client’s performance management system and training curriculum (if applicable).
DevelopmentWise assists with the launch of the new competencies/system as needed.
Finally, we’ll work with you to evaluate the success of the project and schedule a time for follow-up evaluation.
