Coaching What is Coaching?
Coaching is a finite relationship designed to help participants adjust behavior, build skills, achieve desired business results, adopt a management or leadership style, or gain self-awareness. Coaching is different from mentoring, which tends to focus more on career development and the particulars of a specific position in an organization.
The coaching relationship is mutual, with both parties responsible for upholding their end of the agreement. The best coaching experiences, and ones that lead to the most benefit, are those in which the "coachee" is able to devote the necessary time and effort to the program.

Performance Coaching: Similar to executive coaching, this program is appropriate for all levels in the organization with a focus on improving workplace performance and goal achievement. Emphasis is placed on fine-tuning skills such as oral and written communication, time management, organization, and conflict management, as well as making steady progress through an individual development plan.
Presentation Skills Coaching: Intended for anyone who publicly represents his or her organization, or would like to, this program is designed to help participants improve their public speaking ability, handle speech anxiety, prepare for upcoming presentations, and build their strengths and personality into their performances. Effective use of visuals during presentations may also be an area of focus. |
